Experiments in longevity training

Purushotam, Male, 32 years. Vegan.

I am a longevity trainee, training to be optimised athletically and sexually into my later decades, till tenth decade or beyond.

I started training specifically for longevity, as part of a structured regimen, since the start of 2026. Before too, I would train, vaguely but to last decades.

My chosen modality is alactic chaotic bodyweight kinetic chain training, every word of the phrase solves a aging problem.

My foundation of training is to keep allostatic load - the wear and tear of the body systems and brain over years as we live - as minimum as possible.

Optimization, for me, means, retaining at least 85% or more of today's peak into the tenth decade.

The plan to slow the degradation.

Area Under the Curve(AUC), If you plot your lifespan on a X-axis and your physical or cognitive capacity on a Y-axis, the resulting curve represents your life trajectory. The "Area Under the Curve" represents your total healthy, functional years.

In longevity, AUC is closely tied to your allostatic load—the cumulative 'wear and tear' on your body from chronic stress. The longer your body remains in a heightened state of stress, the larger the AUC of cortisol and inflammation, which actively accelerates cellular degradation.

For example, if you endure a highly stressful year, achieving a stress-free environment the following year does not instantly reset your biology. The physiological cost of that prolonged stress—through epigenetic changes, immune system wear, and cellular aging—has already been logged. While the body has remarkable tools for repair, the biological footprint of that high-stress period permanently contributes to your lifetime AUC.

My plan, to reduce all kinds of stress from food, life, exercises and lack of sleep and mentally to as minimum as possible. AUC remains flat till the tenth decade. Or the downward process is as slow as possible.

Factors that contribute me to be in least or zero stress are, I don't use social media, I don't watch news and similar stories, the foundational principle is, in the stories I have no control, I don't use my cognitive abilities, which helps in maintaining my cognitive abilities and my physical body in peak performance.

Many of my biomarkers are at the physiological floor, all these factors play a role in getting me to optimised biomarkers.

Biochemically, (with)blood markers, the body is optimized on paper, but true optimization is, those results should translate to outcomes, like if I am injured, I ought to be recovering at accelerated speed.

My ESR is 1, is at the physiological floor, my healing times, if it's only biochemical, is as fast as nature had intended.

My stressors

As a at-home caregiver for my bedridden mother, my allostatic load is still maintained at a flat line, I believe, and my sleep is constantly broken. Yet, one biological metric I’ve been tracking is still optimised: my Nocturnal Penile Tumescence (NPT), commonly known as 'morning wood', is present over 90% of the time.

(And yes, women experience the exact same biological phenomenon, known as Nocturnal Clitoral Tumescence, or NCT).

For women it's not highly visible as in men, but the feeling of fullness, the blood pooling, in the clitoris is a important signal of body systems, vascular, endothelial, working as intended.

Why track this? NPT and NCT aren't just about sex; they are powerful indicators of systemic health. They only occur during REM sleep when the parasympathetic nervous system - the body's recovery mode - takes over and drives blood flow to the pelvic region. Seeing my NPT over 90% tells me something crucial: despite the chronic stress(expected for a carer) and fragmented sleep of caregiving, my vascular health is optimised, and my brain is still finding the vital REM sleep windows it needs to repair my body.

The broken sleep is two part, mechanical, the act of waking and walking, which happens; the more important part is the second, psychological, what are the thoughts, when awake, with no complaints of waking, the parasympathetic state is not broken. The movements happen and then to sleep, the brain didn't register stress.

This doesn't mean you must miss quality sleep, this is my optimization to undisturbed longevity.

The game of longevity is biochemical, biomechanical, neuromuscular, neurological.

Psychological too, the ideas and worldview matters in longevity, mental training is as important, they impact biochemically.

Comparison to unoptimised humans

Comparing optimised humans to unoptimised humans is a logical fallacy.

Can a international sprinter be compared to a doctor?

Different environments, different life priorities, different interests.

Comparing unoptimised humans to optimised humans, is like a master tradesman saying, I am in the optimized 0.01 percent of humanity.

The master tradesman could be the sprinter or the doctor in our example.

The fallacy is, more than 99% were never running the master tradesman’s race or had their interest.

This is a mistake since times immemorial, the most profound example is of a classroom with forty children.

So, is comparison among the optimized humans logically perfect?

It can be a metric, still the logical fallacy exists, as every human is biologically different, in the context of genetics, environment etcetera.

The best metric, is optimising ourselves to the optimal markers. Optimal markers, mean that we are thriving today, not only on the paper, those results should be translated physically.

Like my ApoB is 55 mg/dl, with no medications. It is at the physiological floor, but it can't be compared to other optimised humans, as it has factors that can't be replicated by others like genetics etcetera.

For me longevity is having agile movements at high speeds, having amazing sex, no pains, good sleep with zero stress(trainable trait), and accelerated healing, if we are optimised, it's inevitable, today and in the later decades too.

Longevity training

I have no elixir. All I know is available as public research, and my story is a educated guess to last till 92 in peak performance.

As we are the first generation training for longevity with technologies like AI models that synthesize data from research in a fraction of time compared to us reading each paper and applying to our regimens.

First, by definition, that has not happened before. We keep improving as the knowledge frontiers keeps moving forward.

Training

I don't believe in vertical training, as a trainer and trainee, it becomes a passive story.

I prefer horizontal training.

I like to be a compeer - a person of equal ability - if you believe so too.

The journey will be of constant learning .

You can be the part of the optimisation journey at ₹100,000/month as my fees for knowledge sharing.

I am only looking for one compeer in the journey.

If you are interested, we can discuss, contact me on text or call.

A research backed suggestion

Don't do crunches or similar exercises which makes the spine to flex underload, it's bad for the spine and back. You can read Dr.Stuart McGill research to get a deeper understanding of the effects on the spine.

Rectus abdominis training in isolation is not a good idea.

My Biomarkers, July 2026

The blood was drawn 14 hours after upper body(upper extremities) training day, some markers are affected. For those affected, will be marked with (A). And for optimized (O), for deficiency (D).

I am on zero medications.

I was on zero supplements when the blood was drawn.
